You will join the management team of Cash Operations, with overall responsibility for day to day operations functions within the Dublin cash operations team within Dublin, reporting directly to the cash operations head.

Your key responsibilities

  • Management of Cash operations teams ensuring adherence to procedures and assist in formulating new procedures; conducting all reporting and Management Information System returns for the team

  • Functions as a manager with minimum guidance and is accountable for the ensuring that the day-to-day activities are aligned to the business objectives

  • Ensure efficient team structure through effective resource management, focusing on ensuring correct skills for roles and optimum resourcing level for the team under your remit

  • Manage and mentor your direct reports, engaging with them through team and one-to-one meetings and the staff performance process; motivate, challenge and ensure your direct reports are trained as required to fulfill their roles

  • Ensures compliance, audit and security requirements are met

Your skills and experience

  • Substantial banking experience, with knowledge and experience of working within an operations environment

  • Strong knowledge of International Payments/Settlements

  • High analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment and solid people management skills

  • An ability to adhere to multiple deadlines and good time management and ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment; innovative approach to work and continuously identify and implement process improvements

  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of people
