Role Description

This role is for a Program Manager within the Group Architecture Engineering Function. This role will organize and coordinate programs/ projects. You will provide strategic guidance to engineering teams in ways that promote the company’s culture. You will also oversee the progress of operations.

As the guardians of the Bank’s Architecture, the Group Architecture Function drives and supports initiatives that span strategy, architecture, and solution delivery. With a mandate that extends to all businesses and infrastructure functions, Group Architecture uses EA as the basis on which to manage business, data, and application and technology services in a consistent, re-usable framework.

Group Architecture partners with each division of the bank to ensure that Architecture is defined, delivered, and managed in alignment with the bank’s strategy and in accordance with the organisation’s architectural standards.

Your key responsibilities

• Organize and Monitor Interconnected Projects. Coordinate Cross Project Activities. Identify and manage Risks.
• Day to Day management of the ITAO Function within the Group. This includes making sure that engineering activities is compliant with the IT Policies and Controls within the bank. Understand and manage compliance to SDLC process and Control.
• Manage Agile Processes within different scrum teams, Manage Change.
• Be responsible for vendor management. Manage Vendor Relationships.
• Be the conduit between the engineering and Operations Teams in the Bank.
• Be responsible for Onboarding of New Staff
• Generate Reports on Team Agility and Velocity.

Your skills and experience

• Several years of experience as Program Manager
• Knowledge of IT policies necessary to perform effectively in the organization, aligned to the bank's appetite for risk
• High level understanding of Cloud Technologies and Platform GCP/ AWS
• Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders.
• Understand Agile Practices.
• Good Communication and Relation building skills.
• Self-Starter and Communicator
• Experience in IT Service Management
• Fluent English is required.
