Role Description

The Business Analyst is responsible for guiding analysing the user requirements of compliance, Legal, NFRM area. BA need to review and analysis of requirements from the business as well as identifying and assessing change needs. The Business Analyst supports the link between the business divisions and the solution providers for all aspects of identifying, implementing and maintaining solutions. The Business Analyst focuses on providing clients with accurate reporting of service and operating level agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for defining business requirements in partnership and collaboration with the business and obtaining sign-off
• Must have knowledge of capital market
• Ensures the creation of supporting documentation e.g. Terms of Reference
• Liaises with programme / project managers, clients, and other stakeholders as appropriate as the business/functional counterpart for solution identification
• Reviews business case(s) outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions
• Reviews feasibility studies and estimates
• Must have good knowledge of SQL and should be able to work on database.
• Responsible for defining testing requirements together with the QA & Testing Team as well as the clients Supports the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and articulates identified impacts and risks
• Responsible for Quality Assurance of project deliverables
• Supports the team/Managers on the prioritization of change requests
• Works with team/Managers to ensure consistent implementation of processes
• Good data analysis. Should have good SQL, Excel, Access experience to perform data analysis.

Your skills and experience

• Must have 7+ years of experience in IT industry and at least 3-4 years in the BA role.
• Broad knowledge of related business solutions in the marketplace
• Maturity and persuasiveness to engage in business dialogue and support stakeholders
• Knowledge of Quality Management tools and techniques
• Well developed analytical and problem solving experience
• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organization
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English (written/verbal)
• Good knowledge in MS Office products ( Ms Excel, Word and power point)

Education / Certification

• Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business, Economics or Computer Science (or equivalent Business Analysis certification and/or relevant work experience)
