About the team

The Access Lifecycle Solutions Team, within the area of Identity & Access Management (IAM) is responsible for providing, maintaining and operating centralized Identity & Access Management platforms and solutions. These provide the necessary roles and permissions to application users and ensure the recertification of said roles and permissions, in a standardized and compliant process, manually or automatically.

Position Description

The Principal Technology Manager will manage the overall Identity & Access Recertification Services. The role includes responsibilities such as Vendor Engagement, Migration Lead, Production Incident handling, Audit Findings management and response, also tackling Compliance Requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Vendor management:

• Manage the contract with vendor: Review Run-the-Bank contracts for both operations and engineering teams; should suggest changes in order to adapt with new business and compliance requirements; drive the negotiation with vendors and the Procurement Team up to to final agreement.

• Service Relationship Owner: perform Vendor Risk Management and Vendor Assessment to ensure compliance; review Vendor performance per agreed SLA/KPIs and further agreements in the contract; invoicing.

Migration Lead of legacy recertification applications to Cloud

• Responsible for the technical part of the migration (non-functional requirement, interfaces, design)

• Support the migration team in tackling the technical issues and by engaging with various stakeholders

• Ensure the overall migration plan milestones, reporting transparently to the management.

Production Performance and Incident management

• Govern the vendor teams which are responsible for Level 2 support and continuously improve the operations service management process, ensuring best-in-class production support services.

• Govern vendor teams that are responsible for Level 3 support and continuously improve issue management, problem-fixing cycles and processes for systems stabilization.

• Engage with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders within and outside the bank to resolve any issues or dependencies.

• Report critical incidents to management. Collaborate with vendor for the appropriate resolution plan.

Audit coordination

• Respond to and track internal and external audit requests

Compliant requirement management

• Support ITAO (Application Owner) to optimize the compliance processes.

• Understand the technical compliance requirements (technical solution vulnerabilities, security threats, etc). Understanding criticality and delivering plans for remediation.

Required Skills

  • Completed degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Excellent communication skills (English at a professional level, German is a plus)
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, reliability, flexibility.
  • Leadership/Team management skills.
  • Customer-oriented
  • Experience working in Production Services and managing technology stacks of large/complex IT systems.
  • Experience in managing vendor teams, including experience working at contract negotiation stages.
  • Experience working in Cloud-native environments and understanding the related compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of Access Lifecycle Systems/Frameworks (request & approval flows, provisioning, recertification, admissions/exits) is desired.
