DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.

What is Private Bank?
Private Bank (PB), operating through two distinct business units of Private Bank Germany (PBG) and the International Private Bank (IPB), covers private, wealth and commercial clients across more than 60 countries.
PBG is Germany’s leading retail bank with two highly complementary brands, Deutsche Bank and Postbank, serving approximately 19 million clients. We target clients who are seeking advisory solutions with Deutsche Bank offerings and those looking for convenience through the Postbank offerings. In cooperation with Deutsche Post DHL AG, we also offer postal and parcel services in the Postbank branches.
IPB is an international Private Bank with a diversified business mix. Our core scalable business is in continental Europe, but we also have a profitable and fast-growing presence in Asia and the Middle East and we operate one of the leading UHNW franchises in the United States. Under IPB’s Personal Banking segment, we serve around three million clients, primarily in Italy and Spain.
Private Bank’s combined revenues are €8.2bn (FY 2021). Collectively the business units have €553bn assets under management and a €254bn loan book.

Responsibility:
- Is acting as a leader across the teams in charge of delivering the Migration for Gravity
- Designs technical solutions for the migration of data from legacy systems into cloud (GCP) in collaboration with our network of Distinguished engineers and architects
- Defines maintains and evolves the emerging architecture enabling the Gravity Data migration
- Is responsible for the Migration Inventory artefact and a gatekeeper for any updates in the document
- Collaborates with senior engineers and delivery managers to ensure effective execution of the migration plan
- Is responsible to keep all stakeholders aligned to the migration and report any deviation in the execution
- Is responsible for the success of the migration events
- Contributes to functional specifications for our Reconciliation and Migration engine as needed
Skills:
- Cloud / GCP certification preferred
- SQL / Oracle Database
- Good understanding of data infrastructure
- Able to design microservices based solutions and strategies and to ensure adoption within the overall program
- Able to design database extraction solutions and data reconciliation solutions
- Has relevant experience with core banking systems, preferably has been involved in data migration projects, has experience with SQL databases and GCP / Cloud platforms
- Has a very client-oriented approach, seeks to understand how the results of their work will be used by the final client of the bank
- Very mature and seasoned leader, able to adapt to different cultures and teams
- Computer science background and relevant experience as software architect, preferably also as delivery manager for large IT initiatives
