Overview:
Strategy and Execution Team (S&E) within Procurement and Travel Organization (PTO) has been shaped in the current form this year, marking the beginning of PTO transformation, focusing on key areas, such as: defining PTO’s Transformation Strategy, managing Service Ownership (SO) and oversight for PTO’s Vendor Portfolio & Roadmap, defining its Vendor Strategy, participation in Group wide Transformation Initiatives and providing Audit oversight.
The Vendor Management Specialist role is of critical importance to PTO organization, given its heavy reliance on vendors to execute on its key procurement and travel operations. This role will report to Global Service Owner and Chief of Staff for PTO.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor commercial obligations and ensuring invoicing and purchase orders are executed across all vendors in PTO.
- Provide commercial input / support to shape relevant business case for key projects driven by the Strategy and Execution team as part of the PTO Transformation program.
- Manage and execute the dbTPRM process for all PTO vendors, including the relevant GP internal outsourcing agreements and any others triggered by PTO Transformation Program.
- Ensure contracts contain the correct level of governance, controls, service, and reporting principles.
- Regular reporting and input for global Outsourcing Registers and ensure vendor adheres to Bank wide regulatory, compliance requirements and risk framework.
- Monitor the service relationship via Governance, KPI reporting and drive supplier performance.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for Vendor related audit points or findings in the dbTPRM process.
The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the PTO teams. At the same time, the candidate will frequently interface with GP wider organization.
You will have:
Strong understanding of vendor oversight and its key principles, including vendor risk management. Fully conversant with vendor service delivery metrics (SLA/KPIs/KRIs). Good commercial skills to structure change initiatives and manage properly the commercials. Good operational and analytical skills to prepare complex reports and analysis as required. Good organisational skills to ensure processes and projects are running smoothly and in line with common goals. Strong communication skills to convey relevant messages to project team members. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to manage vendors and senior stakeholders in the Bank. Desire for Continuous Improvement. PMO experience is a plus.
