The DCM coverage team within Deutsche Investment Bank supports Italian and Greek clients to:
- access the Debt Capital Markets through public and private transactions across different markets and currencies;
- execute Liability Management transactions to manage outstanding debt;
- execute Structured Finance transactions.
The team covers Corporate, Financial Institution and SSA clients in Italy & Greece.
This combination of client exposure, subject matter and market movement makes our jobs exciting and extremely diversified. We are a coverage team, which means we talk to clients about their financing needs and opportunities, as well as ESG positioning, and we are constantly looking for funding solutions.
The desk is looking for an intern to join the team. Due to its diversity, the internship is open for people with a strong will to learn and implement constantly changing products/concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, analysis and term sheets, due diligence memos and other documents using MS Office suite.
- Assist with executing a variety of transactions including public and private placements in different markets and currencies.
- Learn about the growing area of finance-focused ESG concepts and metrics.
- Liaise regularly with the legal department, as well as with the syndication desk, and other colleagues in the Debt Capital Markets team.
- Leverage internal relationships to ensure that client focus is in line with our business.
Skills:
- Economic background, 2nd year of Master Degree.
- Good knowledge of both English and Italian.
- Strong MS Office suite skills.
- Familiarity to use Bloomberg.
- Good knowledge of accounting.
- The ability to contribute to creative and tactical marketing solutions.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to contribute successfully in a team within a global business environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
Start Date: January 2025, 6 months internship.
