Commercial Banking Tribe
You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.
We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.
Our tribe is on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. On that we are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

Your key responsibilities
- You participate in the full SDLC with focus on test automation for frontend and backend APIs.
- You plan, design and develop automated tests for validating the features delivered by your Squad, integrate them in our build pipeline and publish test reports to all stakeholders.
- You design Test Plan/Test Strategy and coordinate test execution at different phases of testing. In case of no test automation available yet you support with manual testing. You are able to lead, assist and guide test teams both internally and externally
- You work closely with other Testers, Business Stakeholders, Developers and DevOps Engineers to ensure that test cases reflect requirements, and all relevant scenarios are covered for both functional and non-functional tests (e.g. load tests).
- You are working in a cross disciplined agile team with shared responsibility and high autonomy and actively engage in test and engineering community, share your knowledge and build up a solid network.
Your skills and experience
- University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.
- Several years of experience in test automation with hands on experience in testing frameworks like Selenium, Karate, Cypress, Postman.
- Good knowledge of Java and JavaScript / NodeJS as well as with CI environments such as GitHub, GitLap or Jenkins.
- Experience in planning and designing test frameworks and test strategy with emphasis on test automation as well as experience in planning, conducting and documenting manual tests.
- You are a very good team player who likes to share insights and best practices and can communicate fluently in English.
