Role Description
Within Private Bank, the BLIS Products COO team plays constructive role in partnering with “Banking, Lending & Investment Solutions and Chief Investment Office” product heads in emerging market for driving key business initiatives for CTB and RTB activities. The function’s key mandate is to ensure adherence to the risk & control governance framework in line with regulatory requirements / internal policies /audit standards; also involving front to back review of processes and scaling up of controls to address the gaps that are self-identified or highlighted by Regulators.

Your key responsibilities
- Lead and execute business priorities and projects across Capital Markets in alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with Agile teams, Control Functions, Product Desk heads, and other key stakeholders for effective project execution.
- Design and test controls across various products, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Conduct control testing on Marketing Materials and Cross Border Travel to uphold standards.
- Spearhead cross-asset product initiatives, including Complex Product Classification, Product Risk Rating, Product Due Diligence, Product Pricing, and Product Factsheets.
- Coordinate new product approvals and systematic product reviews/interventions for emerging markets.
- Provide support for Global Product Governance and contribute to cohesive product control.
- Support Direct Dealing client suitability management, covering onboarding, offboarding, maintenance, and client suitability periodic reviews.
- Facilitate cross-asset class CCA (Cancel, Corrected, and Amended) trade attestations and prepare necessary reporting.
- Lead discussion with Audit, Compliance, ORM and other control functions.
Your skills and experience
- Postgraduate-level degree/professional qualification
- For Associate, minimum 5 yrs. of banking experience, at least 3 yrs. in Private Bank or Wealth management, is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products (FX, Structured Products, Equities, Bonds, Funds, DPM) including prior understanding of how WM client orders are handled/ executed.
- Good knowledge of operational processes and risk management
- Proficient in MS Office applications (excel, PowerPoint, word), macro and Bloomberg.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across Business, Risk, Finance & Agile
- Strong communication skills with ability to clearly articulate one’s viewpoints/ challenges.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
