Details of the Division and Team:
RMS is a global sales team covering corporate clients by delivering solutions to help client better manage FX, Rates, Commodity and other bespoke financial market risks. In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore and Hong Kong as well as in 11 other markets across Asia.

You can expect:
Provident Fund: the Bank will contribute 25% towards the EPF. These rates are subject to change in accordance with the amendments made to the EPF Trust duly approved by the statutory authority.
Employees Trust Fund: the Bank will contribute 3% of the basic salary towards the Employees Trust Fund (E.T.F.). This rate is subject to change in accordance with the statutory limits as declared by the Government of Sri Lanka.
Gratuity : You will be entitled to Gratuity, on resignation/separation/retirement from Bank (after completion of 5 years continued service).
Medical Insurance: All employees and dependents (spouse and children) are covered under a Medical Insurance Policy.
Group Term Life Insurance: All employees are covered under a Life Assurance Policy.
Group Personal Accident Insurance: All employees are covered under a Personal Accident Insurance Policy.
Your key responsibilities:
Developing a deep understanding of client needs and expectations by ensuring regular contact and constantly researching appropriate sales solutions
Building working relationships with origination, trading, research, client services, and operations to ensure effective end to end client/product delivery
Operating within the relevant legal, regulatory and bank policy landscape
Develop a good understanding of risk management and governance
Identifying and contacting prospective clients and building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business
Cover daily execution across FX and Rates products with clients as well as market more complex products
Maintain client relationships of key existing clients and identify new clients by assisting senior sales individuals in account coverage
Stay ahead of client demand in identifying market trends and opportunities
Interact collaboratively with middle/back office to ensure seamless execution and minimize operational risk
Provide market updates to key clients and support clients’ inquiries
Your skills and experience:
A degree or an equivalent professional qualification in Banking, Finance or Management.
This role is open to candidates with a few years banking experiences or fresh graduate. 1-2 years working experiences in a relevant role would be an added advantage.
Self-motivated, innovative, thinking commercially and acting collaboratively
Sales & Marketing of financial products
Good in client engagement/negotiation skills
Extroverted personal skills with positive mindset and ability to have a rounded approach in terms of revenue, risk, control and governance
Above average knowledge with Excel, Power Point and Math
Mandatory Qualification: Should possess one of the professional qualification/s listed below at the time of applying or to be obtained within 1 year of appointment 1. The Dealing Certificate or Operations Certificate offered by the Financial Market Association (Association Cambiste Internationale – ACI). 2. A certificate in Treasury and Foreign Exchange Operations offered by the Centre for Banking Studies of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. 3. The Diploma in Treasury and Risk Management offered by the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka. 4. Membership in the Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst
