Under the AFC Program, AFC Risk Assessment is responsible for the following activities across the U.S. and the greater Americas region:

• Oversight and governance pertaining to the Americas AFC RTA.

• Manage and execute the Bank’s DFS504 Program and certification process.

• Coordinate and execute on special projects resulting from internal/external audits, and/or regulatory exams.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversight and guidance in producing the Americas AFC RTA report with a specific focus in analytics, Enhance the AFC RTA and DFS504 framework, including Inherent Risk and Controls questionnaires, scope, methodology, and certification process that impact the Americas governance and industry standards

  • Update all Americas AFC RTA and DFS504 Program procedures and approach documents; Liaise with Business Line during the execution process of the Risk Type Assessment (RTA) providing AML and Sanctions guidance and status updates on the completion of the RTA

  • Identify, draft, and manage U.S. action items and recommendations resulting from the AFC RTA, Leveraging multiple data work streams in finalizing the Americas AFC RTA report, Execute DFS504 attestation and certification process in maintaining charters and certification plans and deadlines, alignment stakeholders and program owners to execute the bi-annual process

  • Liaison with applicable 504 stakeholders, including AFC, Operations, Data, Technology, Risk and Business teams, to ensure appropriate ownership of deliverables and associated risks and issues

  • Provide support to all stakeholders for functionality inquiries into BCS tool, Execute AFC special reviews resulting from the C&D plan to ensure the Bank has fully operationalized the remediation efforts required by the examiners

  • Execute and lead internal/external audits, and/or regulatory exams pertaining to the RTA and DFS 504, where required, Participate in governance forums on status and/or results on the Americas RTA and/or the DFS 504 Program

Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree, post-graduate a plus

  • Proficient experience in AML/BSA compliance with a minimum of two in risk assessment strongly desired

  • Moderate experience in the financial service industry and in analyzing risk and best practices

  • An understanding of the AML functions responsibilities and of risk assessment processes and risk principles

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, Project management and leadership skills, Strong Excel skills required

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $75,000 to $110,750. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
