Overview

The Commercial Real Estate (CRE) team in New York is looking for an Associate to help support our Special Situations Group. Deutsche Bank's CRE provides financing to public corporations, private equity groups and individuals owning or acquiring commercial real estate assets in all property types including hotel and lodging, industrial, manufactured housing, multifamily, office and retail across the Americas, Asia, and Europe. In addition, CRE, through its Real Estate Special Situations Group, is an active investor in distressed commercial mortgages and other real estate debt instruments acquired in the secondary market from other financial institutions and non-bank lenders globally.

What You’ll Do

  • Preparing complex financial analyses and pricing models

  • Writing internal investment summaries and credit memos

  • Coordinating transactions within tight timeframes, involving several groups within Deutsche Bank, JV investment partners and third-party advisors

  • Producing institutional-quality presentations, case studies and marketing materials

  • Commercial Real estate underwriting, market analysis and valuation

  • Ongoing asset management responsibilities

Skills You’ll Need

  • Highly developed organizational and project/time-management skills, with specific attention to detail

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Commercial real estate experience (in any of corporate finance, credit, or private equity)

  • Successful associates exemplify a strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office.

Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $135K to $175K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
