Overview

Trust and Agency Services is looking for a business development professional with prior experience to join its sales team with a focus on covering a wide range of trust, agency, escrow, and related services provided to the capital markets. You will be responsible for meeting agreed sales and revenue targets. You will use detailed client/product knowledge, market knowledge, and client relationships to generate sales opportunities and work to meet client satisfaction expectations. You will acquire and maintain deep knowledge about the allocated client/product by way of research and ongoing contact enabling idea generation of fitting sales solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with external non-Deutsche Bank clients, law firms, and investment bankers who can provide a continual flow of new clients for the Firm

  • Focus on delivering innovative and client specific solutions that leverage the Bank’s expertise globally

  • Partner with Deutsche Bank’s Corporate and Investment Bank team and other internal relationship managers to provide seamless execution of corporate trusts services associated with new transactions

  • Identify and when appropriate, implement opportunities for increased efficiency and improved service to internal and external clients

  • Generate significant revenue for the Bank over a sustained time frame

  • Work effectively with internal partners in product management, implementation, client service, legal and compliance teams to implement corporate trust products in a timely manner for the clients

Skills You’ll Need

  • Experience in a sales capacity with extensive, in-depth product and market knowledge. Experience in one or more of the following sectors/products would be beneficial: Insurance, Escrow, Collateralized Loan Obligations, Asset Backed Securities, Project Finance or Unstructured Debt sales

  • Proven track record of independently identifying and closing sales opportunities through an active calling effort which focuses on multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities, while generating significant revenue

  • Strong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges and seizing opportunities as they arise

  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment and the impact on banking services within the Corporate Trust space

  • Experience in reporting client/prospect activities and the associated financial metrics

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $130,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
