Overview
Reporting to the Global Head of Supervision, this is a Director level position in the Global Supervision team working in delivering and overseeing the effective implementation of the supervisory framework for front office activities across relevant divisions, including Investment Bank, Corporate Bank and Treasury.
You will lead the operation of the US Supervision team, acting as the primary relationship with the Business stakeholders in the Americas region and working in close partnership with infrastructure partners including Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime. You will also act as the lead for ensuring regulatory compliance in the region and acting as primary regulatory liaison and coordinating regulatory examinations.

What You’ll Do
Managing key relationships with front office business stakeholders in the region and relevant infrastructure partners, including risk and control functions
Overseeing effective implementation of the supervisory framework in the region
Playing a key role in the design and implementation in the supervision framework
How You’ll Lead
Leading the delivery of reporting on effectiveness of supervisory oversight and managing supervision risks
Supporting the Global Head of Supervision in promoting and leading supervisory oversight initiatives
Actively participating in bank and industry forums on supervision and related topics
Skills You’ll Need
Detailed knowledge of leading industry regulation, best practice, and developments
Strong financial markets background from global bank, working closely with front office staff
Experience of leading and managing successful cross-business change initiatives
Front office control and risk management knowledge, probably from a business management role
Familiarity with non-financial risk management and risk assessment methodologies is an advantage
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Able to work independently with oversight from senior team members; able to identify key risks and escalate appropriately
Proven ability to communicate effectively to senior managers, both written and verbal
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $180K to $275K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
