The Analytics Collateralised Loan Obligation (CLO) team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of rules-based models for CLOs in our role as Cash Manager, Calculation Agent and/or Portfolio Administrator.

You will be part of the team responsible for a portfolio of CLO transactions and will be required to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure each transaction is administered in accordance with the contractual terms. You will have extensive interaction across the transaction value chain.

Your key responsibilities

  • Involved in all the activities of the CLO analytics team on all process and project deliverables, setting up asset compliance models on the SOLVAS accounting application, associated databases, report creation, structure, systems, collateral, and validation processes
  • Read and interpret governing legal documents, including but not limited to, the Prospectus, Bond Indentures, and Collateral Management Agreements
  • Work closely with client services teams, internal and external legal representatives, rating agencies, bond insurers and underwriters to ensure compliance and structural integrity of governing documents
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service by understanding overall deal structure to provide internal and external clients with explanations to calculated outputs
  • Proactively research and resolve any data accuracy issues
  • Produce and deliver Reports to the clients within the timeframe stated in the documents. Liaising with clients, counterparties, and relevant internal departments to ensure transactions and queries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner

Your skills and experience

  • Relevant experience in a similar role developing compliance models for CLO securities and/or implementing transformation projects in CLOs using optical character recognition/artificial intelligence (OCR/AI) technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of the SOLVAS CLO administration platform as well as experience in SQL, knowledge of Google Document AI or similar platforms will be preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of a team as well as individually
  • Background in or good understanding of the global financial services industry and Debt Capital Markets/ structured finance
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to articulate clearly in accordance with any given audience and experienced at interacting widely through a banking organisation
