The Team
Product Management is one of the function performed by the CFO team. The Fund CFO Specialist is responsible for the oversight of operations and finance of the products managed by the Alternatives business. The key objectives of the Fund CFO Specialist are to :
Support product development process
Oversee product corporate administration
Manage the engagement and on-going oversight of Service Providers
Carrying out certain control activities
Ensure entities are properly capitalised
Manage cash
Support leverage and hedging activities
Oversee product accounting
Manage audit and tax reporting processes
Oversee performance measurement and financial reporting
Attend Valuation Committee as set up by the AIFM
Your responsibilities:
maintain and establish relationships with resident directors and officers, banks, administrators, custodians, legal and tax advisers,
support legal and regulatory compliance and assist with board meetings,
participate in the set-up of fund and corporate structures
co-ordinate and maintain records of fund and transaction documentation as well as board minutes,
cash and treasury management including KYC, compliance, entity capitalisation, funding and cash repatriation,
review of fund entity management accounts, quarterly NAVs and presentation to directors at quarterly and annual board meeting,
assistance with consolidation of fund accounts,
co-ordination and review of statutory accounts, VAT, tax returns and CSSF reports,
liaison with auditors,
implementation and maintenance of operating standards, processes and procedures,
monitoring and assessment of business and/or regulatory risks,
oversight of the service providers.
attend valuation committee
review and approve AIF´s NAV
ensure policies are consistently applied
Requirements:
Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience within the Investment Fund industry and / or financial industry.
Experience in Real Estate, Infrastructure or Private Equity
Understanding of Luxembourg tax, legal and regulatory environment
AIF´s valuation experience
Fluency in English both written and spoken
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Motivated team member with strong attention to detail
Analytical and pro-active approach to problem solving
Strong interpersonal skills with flexibility to work independently
Highly collaborative and able to work efficiently
Ability to proactively communicate issues to the direct report
Ability to translate complex situation into a succinct action points
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Good overall knowledge of asset management
The successful candidate will be asked to present a recent version of a criminal record
