DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.
The team is made up of enthusiastic professionals that work in an international environment adapting to different contexts and learning modern technologies and parts of Deutsche Banks’ businesses. The goal:
We are looking for the best people to help create the next big thing in digital banking.
You will join the Solution Architecture chapter of Private Bank Technology Domain within BEX and will work on both Run-the-Bank (RTB) and Change-the-Bank (CTB) projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the enterprise architects, security, compliance and business analysis teams to define and implement solution components for various Private Bank platforms.
- Communicate complex and broad range of information pertaining to the solution and roadmap clearly and appropriately, catered to for different levels (Managing Director to junior developers) and functions (Change The Bank, Run The Bank, Business management, EA, development teams, etc), both within IT and the business
- Getting consensus on the solution and roadmap, ensuring buy-in to the proposed architecture by all stakeholders
- Producing relevant artefacts including architecture blueprints, decision logs and technical solution documents
- Determining the non-functional requirements such as data volumes, through put performance, data retention requirements, authorization/authentication, etc in order to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, robust, allow for agile change and meet any project Service Level Agreement’s and regulatory requirements
- Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL processes.
- Participating and leading design workshops.
- Provide SME knowledge on technology usage
Essential Skills sets to include deep understanding and familiarity with the following or similar technologies:
- Service designs and architectures (SOA, formal patterns etc)
- APIs and API frameworks
- Security (OAuth, OpenId, etc)
- Scalable infrastructure models
- Expert understanding of DWH system architectures, methodologies and data modeling
- Experience with data modeling tools, such as PowerDesigner
- Extensive experience delivering complex solutions (ideally but not restricted to banking and/or financial institutions), from analysis and design through all delivery phases
- Knowledge of architectural frameworks and best practices
- Proven leadership track of record in designing and implementing complex, mission-critical and high traffic enterprise architectures
Ideally, you should have:
- TOGAF certification and/or experience
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other major cloud providers
- Experience with BigData technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc)
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience with designing applications for Financial Sector
- Passion for emerging technologies
- Persistence in driving architecture strategy
- High degree of self-reliance, autonomy, and flexibility
- Very good communication skills, assertiveness, and persuasive power
- Fluent English skills
