Responsibilities:

• Act as Business Analyst in developing new technology applications in partnership with Business and Operations stakeholders to transform the Investment Bank Operations interactions.

• Participate as an active scrum team member working alongside our business and operations users, developers, architects, UX Designers & UI Developers.

• Understand current state business process, challenges and work with business stakeholders and operations to define strategic solutions.

• Organise working groups and provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery status and risks

• Prepare and document business requirements and user stories using a variety of methodologies such as Specification by Examples (SBE)

• Drive scrum ceremonies as required and involve our Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the Product Backlog refinement sessions for defining user stories with the team.

• Agree test scenarios and conditions for signoff with stakeholders ideally through devising automated test cases through Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).

• Contribute to the BA community with own experience and sharing of best practices and standards and mentor junior members.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to tailor communication approach for different stakeholder groups (Developers, Business, Operations Users)

• Prior experience of working in an Agile environment - writing user stories, prioritizing backlog, etc.

• Experience in User Story writing

• Willing to learn and navigate through different applications, technologies, and business flows based on analysis and requirement needs

• Desirable previous experience in Specification by Example (SBE) technique.

• Desirable to have experience in using Confluence and Jira

• Desirable to have experience in the Investment Bank domains like Lending, Derivatives, etc.

• SQL and Unix knowledge

• Fusion Kondor+ application knowledge is a plus
