Employee Compliance’s (EC) core function is to provide effective advice and tools to enable Deutsche Bank employees to observe the highest standards of individual behavior and conduct and to assess, monitor and report on Compliance risks posed by Employees and Contingent Workers associated with, amongst others, the following areas: Personal Account Dealing (PAD); Employee Compliance Attestations; and Licensing & Registrations.

As a key member of the EC Strategy and Risk Management Team, you will be responsible for supporting EC in achieving key strategic priorities including existing and transformational goals through the establishment and development of globally consistent minimum standards according to risk appetite and best practice.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assisting the Global Head of EC and the Head of EC Strategy and Risk Management on global discussions/initiatives and developing risk-based proposals to support EC strategic deliverables ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards and best practice
  • Establishing framework and governance over EC’s Management Information and Reporting
  • Attending and governance of EC’s Leadership Team meetings/actions
  • Leading the maintenance and development of the EC strategic book of work framework
  • Facilitating reviews (e.g., global Licensing and Registrations review)
  • Supporting the maintenance and development of EC technology systems used to record and assess disclosures and attestations
  • Provide trusted advisory support to the EC Strategy and Risk Management Team on the Bank’s EC policies and associated controls to ensure minimum standards, risk appetite and processes are implemented on a globally consistent basis

Your skills and experience

  • Understanding, interpreting, and implementing risk-based solutions to meet global regulatory expectations (preferably as they relate to PAD)
  • Oversight and implementation of operational processes
  • Experience running/supporting governance processes
  • Supporting data and technology initiatives, ideally using an agile methodology
  • Developing and implementing strong governance controls and processes
  • Management of large sets of data – excellent excel/powerpoint skills
  • Provision of Management Information to address business and operational risks
