Details of the Division and Team:
Vietnam Branch Operations is looking for an Officer in TSCO - IBO. This position is responsible for providing deal management and operational support to FIC, Treasury activities within the bank’s established control framework. The candidate must possess a functional knowledge of the daily settlement operations process compliance monitoring, trade settlement, account & confirmation reconciliations, financial messaging and regulatory reporting. This will include transfer of knowledge to team members. Demonstrate ability to complete assignments in a timely manner and ensure deal management processes remain efficient & cost effective within the bank’s established internal & external standards & guidelines. Demonstrate the capability of promoting teamwork spirit within the department in ensuring process completeness and interact with professionals from other departments in ensuring the bank’s objectives are met. Must be able to analyze data, recognize & respond to anomalies and the ability to evaluate & accurately document & escalate processing exceptions & root cause. Strong understanding of Compliance, Audit, Regulatory & operational risk is a must. Having regulatory reporting experience is highly appreciated.

Your key responsibilities:
Risk Management and Control
Proactively identifies operational risk and develop controls to manage and mitigate risk in partnership with the business.
Educates self about inherent operational risk to improve knowledge about industry standards, security and audit requirements. Escalates appropriately to manage risk.
Make recommendations for process improvement. Develop awareness of strategy, predict business changes, control challenges and drive strategic direction/solutions.
Production and Control
Mainly execute, Support and Control all internal/regional/regulatory reports related activity for Fixed Income & Currencies and Treasury as decided by the reporting manager from time to time.
Take lead of new report implementation, regulatory reporting project.
Execute, Support and Control, all Payments related activity associated with the settlement of FIC and Treasury products. The activity can expand beyond FIC to other departments within the branch as decided by the reporting manager from time to time.
Supporting the various cross product utilities, initiatives which are set up in the branch from time to time.
Leverages own and teams’ product knowledge to deliver customer-centered solutions. Manage and continually propose improvement to daily workflow and operations.
Co-ordinate Regulatory/Administrative issues relating to the business along with the reporting manager
Other Matters
Monitor daily confirmations & documents, reports.
Client queries.
Miscellaneous
Interpret and respond to client, regulatory and other stakeholder concerns along with the reporting manager.
Other duties that may be instructed from time-to-time by the bank or as represented by the reporting manager.
Any other duties as and when assigned by supervisor.
Work & comply with KODs & Regulations.
Your skills and experience:
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
Should possess professional qualifications.
Ability to communicate clearly, have good presentation skills.
Graduate, more than 4 years of related experience
Capability of driving initiatives, projects, new developments.
Strong understanding of Compliance, Audit, Regulatory & operational risk, and related issues.
Self-driven and keen on changing for a better mindset.
Good competence in written and spoken English and Vietnamese communication skills.
Possess good interpersonal skills.
Strong skills in Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration.
