Team / division overview:
You will join the Product Specialist Active Business Development & Product Trends team, which is part of the Global Product Specialists, Development & Lifecycle Active team in DWS´ Product Division. This role is pivotal in further developing our Active Product Strategy by driving in depth market analysis and deriving actions, ensuring alignment with regional specifics. The Product Specialist Active Business Development & Product Trends team is responsible for optimizing our Active product range, identifying future product trends and managing & executing key initiatives, while working across various business functions and regions.
Your responsibilities:
As a Product Specialist you will:
Be responsible for in depth market analysis for institutional & retail clients within the Active business, ensuring alignment with regional specifics in EMEA, APAC & US markets
Conduct research & quantitative analysis, including competitor research, to support decision making processes and identify future product trends
Deriving actions and recommendations from market analysis to support and further develop our Active Product Strategy
Closely collaborate with Product Specialists, Client Coverage Division, Investment Division and Finance to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and market demands
Prepare and create presentations for senior management and other relevant committees and boards
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships across business functions
Act as point of contact for the Active organization and maintaining stakeholder relationships in Active as well as the broader DWS organization
We are looking for:
Essential Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strategic mindset
Understanding of the Active investment landscape
An open mind to embracing new challenges coupled with a strong sense of commitment and a pro-active approach to self-development
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills,
Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
Education & Qualifications:
University degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
