Join in Deutsche Bank in Milan as a Structured Lending Analyst. You’ll join in the Private Banking BLIS Lending Italy Area.
Role Responsabilities:
The candidate identified will report to the Head Business lending Italy within the PB BLIS Lending Italy Area.
Location: Milan
The applicant will:
- support the origination and actively structure and execute lending transactions, i.e. support Structured Finance in execution of Corporate, Leveraged & Acquisition Financing transactions with a focus on Corporate Mid Cap customers. To be more precise: Corporate, Leveraged & Acquisition Financing transactions are intended to support companies both for Corporate needs (financing of investment / capex plans, working capital needs, etc.) and for Leveraged / Acquisition (financing of purchase transactions of target companies both with leverage-buy-out structures led by private equities and as corporate acquisitions)
- deal with the qualitative and quantitative analysis of transactions from a business and credit point of view. To be more precise
- analysis of the business model of client companies,
- analysis of the reference market and competitive context,
- analysis of historical and prospective performance with business plan simulations,
- analysis of collaterals, as well as to support the identification and structuring of adequate and sustainable financing solutions for the clients themselves.
- must effectively interact with all internal stakeholders (e.g. network managers of Corporate and Wealth Management, credit officers, loan operations, legal office, tax office, etc.) and external (e.g. M&A and debt advisor, corporate desks, leveraged finance and syndication desks of other banking institutions, law firms for the stipulation of ad hoc legal documents etc.) ensuring smooth communication and timely updates on transaction progress;
- actively collaborate in the onboarding, reporting, and monitoring of the transactions themselves;
- ensure all transaction-related documents are accurately prepared, filed, and maintained.
- assist in origination and execution of financing deals;
- proactively collaborate in managing qualitative and quantitively analysis;
- support and/or collaborate to monitor transaction progresses;
- interact effectively with Head Office stakeholders and Network colleagues to smooth communication;
- manage reporting and senior management presentation for local and global meetings/committees.
Skills required:
- Bachelor /Master’s degree in economics or management engineering;
- Italian native speaker or proficient level of knowledge;
- Fluent in spoken and written English;
- Good knowledge of Word, Power Point and Excel;
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of financial statement analysis. Good attitude for understanding business models/sectors;
- 1-2 years of work experience (or, alternatively, relevant intership experience) in the financial sector in activities related to the Corporate segment. Preference for profiles with some experience in Leveraged / Acquisition Financing (with a focus on MidCap clients);
- Excellent relational/interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
- Flexible, dynamic, goal-oriented and multitasking.
