Details of the Division and Team
Deutsche Bank China, Shanghai, acts as the custodian bank of QFII/RQFII/QDII/CIBM who are allowed to participate in the trading activities in the China Exchange Market, China Inter-band Bond Market, Index Futures, and other instruments permitted by local Regulatory. Global Securities Operations is the operations team dedicated for Custody Business, providing institutional clients with custodian services as Settlement, Corporate Actions, Reporting, Business Management, Reconciliation, Charging and Billing and tax management, etc. Settlement sub team is handling daily settlement team, cash processing, client reporting, monthly billing, etc.

Your key responsibilities
Responsible for the daily settlement with Central Depositories, ensure timely settlement, liaison with local brokers in fund, securities checking, receive confirmation from brokers and client, solve settlement problems
The Clearing and Settlement Analyst supports interfaces with different internal and external stakeholders (front office, clients, brokers, nostro agents, exchanges and clearing houses) involved in the clearing and settlement process chain, according to the market standards
Responsible for monthly billing processing
Responsible for cash processing, including payment, incoming and miscellaneous cash items
Help to pursue best practice within established policies, guidelines and strategies
Advanced professional knowledge and expertise in financial industry, preferable in custody business/securities companies
Demonstrates dedicated, detail-focused character and spirit of cooperation
Responsible for AML report to PBOC.
Your skills and experience
University graduate or above, at least 1-3 years in financial services industry, preferable custody business or clearance department of securities company
Good communication skill with client and strong team work capability
Familiar with market practise of China A share, CIBM(China Inter-bank bond market)
Good knowledge on settlement & clearing procedure of A share markets
Good Knowledge on SWIFT
Strong read/written and spoken English/Mandarin
Strong knowledge of operating systems and processes relating to custody business in a Bank/securities company
Knowledge of accounting and financial statement exposure
