Role Description
- The candidate in this role will independently lead gathering and clearly articulating business requirements such that the development team can begin implementation without much involvement from the candidate.
- The candidate would also ensure that the testing and quality approach adopted by the QA team will demonstrate that the business requirements have been delivered.
- The candidate is expected to use clear, consistent and targeted communication across the stakeholder groups.
- The candidate will be expected to guide/lead and mentor junior analysts. Basic SQL skills will be a big plus.

Your key responsibilities
- Possess strong functional knowledge of Loan IQ
- Should have a total of 12+ years total IT experience with 9+ years working experience as a Business/Functional Analyst/Operations
- Lead gathering requirements, requirement analysis, performing data/gap analysis and preparing requirements document
- Guide and mentor junior analysts
- Elicit NFRs and should be able to perform GAP Analysis
- Work closely with the global Loan Projects team and software developers in various locations
- Document requirement specifications (Jama/JIRA most preferred) and obtain sign off from respective stakeholders
- Play a key role in analysis and re-engineering/enhancement of core processes/feeds/interfaces to bring consistency across the application
- Perform impact analysis of the interface/feeds changes and communicate to downstream systems and owners
- Manage Traceability throughout the project life cycle ensuring that each delivery stage of project is meeting the business requirements
- Involve in investigation of production issues and guide the L3 team on functional aspects
- Collaborates with QA to explain functional requirements, supports QA in functional testing, regression testing and UAT
- Participate in Reporting platform consolidation by performing the functional analysis of reporting inventory.
Your skills and experience
- Possesses basic SQL skills
- Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodologies, preferably agile models
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to lead junior analysts and guide them in their work
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different levels of stakeholders in application delivery, QA and business groups
- Strong team player who enjoys working in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
- Experience of working in tight deadlines in a mature time-boxed environment
- Highly motivated, practical problem solver
- Ability to co-ordinate across multiple projects
- Quick Learner Ability to learn new technology, tools and best practices in solution areas
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
- Experience in Banking/Capital Market/IB as a Business Analyst
- The following areas would be pluses:
- Investment Banking experience
- Experience in Lending Business
- Familiarity with Confluence, Jama, JIRA or similar tools
- Plus:
- SQL and relational databases knowledge (DB2/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or equivalent
- 12+ years of relevant work experience
- Investment Banking experience will be advantage
