Team / division overview

The direct Real Estate team in Korea is responsible for the origination, acquisition, asset management and disposition of Real Estate assets in Korea, which are to be acquired by a wide range of funds and clients of the DWS platform. The Seoul-based team works on diverse tasks across various Real Estate asset classes such as office, shopping centres, logistics, hotels and residential schemes.

Role Details

As a Real Estate Transaction Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Involve with all acquisition initiatives across a range of sectors and markets, including sourcing and origination, underwriting & analysis, market research, due diligence, preparation of investment committee papers, negotiation, and deal execution
• Hands on with internal reporting and stakeholder management initiatives
• Assisting on capital raising initiatives and special project initiatives (i.e. asset management analysis, asset tours, marketing assignments, research pieces etc.)
• Focus market region will be Korea

We are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, engineering, or architecture
• You have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience
• It would be an advantage if you have experience working for a similar Finance industry with a focus within the Real Estate area
• Team player and have a good track record collaborating with both regional and global team
• Strong commercial acumen & attention to detail is essential to the role
• Analytical skills (including excel financial modelling) and a high level of numeracy
• Strong communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English and Korean
