Details of the Division and Team:
The candidate will work closely with DBWM HK RMs in providing wealth structuring advice / support to RMs and their clients in the following areas:-
Trust and Legacy Planning
Estate and wealth transfer (wills, lasting power of attorney etc)
Liquidity Planning using insurance solutions
Family Office structuring
Cross-Border planning (e.g. to discuss issues raised by multi-jurisdictional families or assets)
Dispositive planning (e.g. to discuss potential distribution arrangements when Clients intend to divest some investments which will result in large proceeds being received by their families)
Coordination between the Client, the Client’s professional advisors and Deutsche Bank (DB)

Key tasks and responsibilities include:
Actively supporting RMs in client meetings, presentations and after-sales activities relating to asset ownership and wealth transfer
Follow legal, political, tax and economic developments in specific countries and apply this knowledge to client situations
Provide ongoing education and training for RMs
Develop country / market/ client specific strategies in conjunction with Coverage and other product groups as well as Lending
Provide feedback to Coverage/ Senior Management on product needs, clients needs, market trends, regulatory changes etc
Meet team/ individual targets on new trust and insurance referral businesses
The specific country focus will be on Hong Kong, China,Taiwan and Philippines
Desired Skills & Experience
At least 10 to 15 years experience in Wealth Planning
Familiarity with legal and tax system of commonly used trust jurisdictions
Know-how and experience in sales & marketing, good business acumen and perceptive of client needs
Good knowledge of markets/ countries covered
Strong presentation and public speaking skills, overall an excellent communicator
Successful track record in a highly demanding and dynamic environment, while consistently a good team player
Good network with external intermediaries, advisers etc
Fluency in English, Cantonese and Chinese required
