Job Description:

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. AFC team is responsible for protecting the bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. Risk types related to Anti-Financial Crime are consolidated in a comprehensive and effective risk management framework that covers Anti-Money-Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Bribery & Corruption as well as Anti-Fraud & Investigations.

An Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and delivering significant components of engineering solutions to accomplish business goals efficiently and reliably. Key responsibilities of this role include active participation in the design of their solution components, investigating re-use, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment with clear, robust and well tested deployments.

Engineers actively look for opportunities to improve the availability and performance of components by applying the learning from monitoring and observation, automating towards zero touch, and championing a 'DevOps' mind-set.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy and ensure team members follow the agreed QA process.
  • Contribute in test automation framework improvements, CI/CD and overall platform testability.
  • Drive the test automation of the test strategy and plan, including automation of test preparation, execution, and analysis and reporting activities.
  • Collaboratively work with Dev/QA engineers within the Feature team (Scrum team), Product Owner and Scrum Master, architects and dev leads to ensure proper quality is achieved for new features and Definition of Done is met, and wider QA group to ensure for knowledge sharing and being align to agreed QA standards and approach.
  • Being hands-on engineer you will be organising, executing testing for new features within one of the Scrum teams, including test automation, non-functional testing assessment, collecting test artefacts and metrics.
  • Ensure high quality of production releases so that features going live are high quality and do not bring regression to existing functionality

Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in backend testing, API testing and automation skills.
  • QA mindset and strong analytical skills.
  • Familiar with any Test Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Cucumber, Serenity etc. ; CI/CD process and tools. Understanding of BDD and TDD approaches.
  • Core Java knowledge (classes and OOP model, data structures, file operations, work with XML, failures evaluation, basic architecture solutions).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Unix commands.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, good leadership skills.
  • Experience with JIRA management tool, defect prioritization and triage.
