You will be part of Avaloq Europe Platform Services team as part of the Private Bank Chief Operating Office (COO) and will regularly work with various stakeholders in the elaboration of requirements and development teams for their implementation.
As Business Analyst you are responsible for maintaining and enhancing business applications which are hosted and operated by a third-party vendor. You will focus on understanding and defining business needs, analysing data and processes, and translating requirements into functional specifications.
In addition, you will support the analysis and design of functional and technological solutions based on business, regulatory and technical requirements and processes, as well as on knowledge of existing and future platforms. You have an in-depth knowledge of Avaloq core banking system (ideally also the respective Deutsche Bank customization and connected interfaces) and you can transform this knowledge into functional and technical solutions that create value for our business.
Responsibilities
Support the management of Avaloq Book of Work for PB Europe International, develop project plans for change requests assigned to you, define objectives, create timelines, and assign tasks.
Gather, analyze, document business and IT requirements for platform related change requests and work with Avaloq on implementation and testing
Support Avaloq One-Code initiative together with Emerging Markets
Provide support for functional issues or questions & incidents raised by end-users
Reviewing functional and technical solution proposals and specifications from Avaloq as a vendor and for other applications
Hands-on test execution and test support for expert users
Leading the resolution of client inquiries in a timely and professional manner through effective interaction with relevant internal stakeholders
Upholding the highest conduct, control and regulatory standards to ensure all regulatory and compliance policies and procedures are met to mitigate risks and ensure that the Bank is fully protected
Skills
Degree in Engineering, Computing or Finance. Master recommended.
Strongly familiar with Avaloq Core Platform; Avaloq certification is a plus.
Knowledge of banking business and products
Experience in project management and knowledge about the entire application development life cycle (Agile and Waterfall methodologies) and incident management
Strong communication skills, strong client service skills and client-oriented mind
Ability to identify risks, resolve conflicts and plan tasks
Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing.
Experience in JIRA, Confluence and HP ALM will be a plus
English proficiency required
