Job Title: Product Manager, Vice President
Purpose Intro
Global Procurement enables Deutsche Bank to optimize supplier relationships to meet its strategic objectives. We partner across the bank to develop and execute strategies to meet our business requirements. We apply our understanding of the supply market and specialized procurement capabilities to optimize value created. We enable the bank to access suppliers by identifying and mitigating vendor risks. Additionally, we manage the platforms and technology solutions to enable efficient purchasing of goods and services.
Role Intro
The Product Management team as part of the Procurement Enablement and Transformation function is responsible for developing the technology vision and roadmap for the Global Procurement organisation. We are in multiple locations including London, Frankfurt, Bucharest and Jaipur. We work closely with key business stakeholders and technology partners to align on vision and strategy to create and deliver end to end user-centric solutions to capture value across the source to pay process.
Responsibilities
- On-going development of the vision and product strategy for Global Procurement, managing the product life cycle including strategic planning, business requirements gathering, design, implementation, release management, product stabilization and on-going support and maintenance.
- Identify and evaluate new emerging technologies for addition to the ecosystem. Defines overall value proposition and required process and data enablers across the end-to-end platform ensuring optimal design to maximise and capture the value proposition.
- Gather demand from business stakeholders and works with Procurement functions to develop business cases and benefit realisation plans.
- Supervise other product managers to deploy solutions including business requirements gathering, functional design, test strategy, change management and communication plans to ensure successful implementations.
- Assists Head of Product Management in team responsibilities including co-ordination of Investment Governance, representation in Process Design Authority and Change Governance committees, planning and facilitation of All Hands Calls and team meetings
Skills
- A proven track record in supply chain area with expertise in the source-to-pay process with a particular emphasis on the source-to-contract lifecycle (5+ years).
- 3+ years of implementation and/or product management experience with SAP and SAP-Ariba products including Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Guided Buying, Ariba Services Procurement, SAP AP and MDG-S. Experience with Supplier Risk Management and other procurement best of breed technologies is a plus.
- Visionary leader with a global business perspective and passion for working with a high performing organisation. Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills. Experience working in Agile and Lean Business methodologies.
- Strong team player, able to work in global, virtual teams in a matrix organization. Strong analytical skills. Able to define and understand the most critical issues. Strong business planning, change management, stakeholder management, information sharing and knowledge transfer skills.
- Bachelor or Masters Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent); Degree in Engineering, Finance or Supply Chain Management. Fluent in English (written/verbal).
