Overview
Trade and/or Transaction is responsible for providing operational expertise and independent governance to achieve timely, accurate and complete transaction management for the bank and, where relevant, the Bank’s clients. In this role, you will provide the leadership team with technical, transactional and logistical input to ensure the Bank operates with the right balance of quality, flexibility, control and cost management. You will also be collaborating across businesses and divisions, maximizing control and minimizing operational risk, building and managing partnerships between internal stakeholders to ensure that the Bank’s business objectives are delivered and ensuring compliance with operational control and external regulation.

What You’ll Do
- Review, understand and comprehend complex saleability language in credit agreements relating to transfer of bank debt from seller to buyer; draft and review Trade Confirmations, Assignment & Acceptance Agreements, Participation Agreements, Transfer Certificates, Accession Deeds, Multilateral and Bilateral agreements and Proceeds Payout Letters
- Draft/review Funding Memorandums of economics due to seller/buyer relating to bank debt transfers; liaise with high profile clients, borrowers, and agent banks to facilitate closing in a timely manner
- Work directly with counterparties, trading desks, and settlement teams; maintain metrics on trade closings and monitor key performance indicators on the closing process for senior management
- Create, Enhance, and Maintain Key Operating Procedures for the team; initiate and coordinate the trade closing process by liaising with electronic settlement platforms and internal trade settlement teams
- Generate necessary reporting and reconciliations for front office; manage high volume, high dollar value exposure
- Coordinate internal KYC review to mitigate risk profile; serve as a client escalation contact for issues that may arise
Skills You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics; proven experience in finance
- Must be highly motivated, organized and proactive; acute sense of priority/urgency related to client and front office needs
- Ability to adapt to market changes and conditions; the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues
- Above average competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Knowledge of LSTA Standard Terms & Conditions
- Experience with Loan IQ/ LS2 and Electronic Settlement Platforms (i.e., Clearpar)
- Aptitude in Mathematics and analysis to draft and understand complex pricing
- Self-audit check to mitigate risk and identify solutions
- Worked on a global scale to deliver client’s expectation
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $50K to $100K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
