Details of the Division and Team :
The Hong Kong banking sector is highly regulated, necessitating robust technology risk and control frameworks. The Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) division is subject to numerous internal and external audits annually, and all TDI technology applications and services deployed in Hong Kong must adhere to both internal Deutsche Bank (DB) control requirements and local regulatory and governance demands. This role is crucial in supporting the HK TDI risk & governance lead, regional TDI risk and control teams, and other TDI teams, as well as DB control functions, to ensure effective management of TDI regulatory, risk, and control activities within Hong Kong. This position requires a strong understanding of Hong Kong regulators’ (e.g., HKMA, SFC) technology guidelines and requirements, Deutsche Bank’s internal control environment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities:

Audit and Finding Remediation Support:
Serve as a key point of contact for TDI in supporting internal and external audit activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders (regulators, auditors, DB TDI teams, and control functions) to facilitate audit processes.
Provide comprehensive support for the remediation and closure of audit findings owned by HK TDI teams, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and responses, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Regulatory Compliance:
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of key technology regulations relevant to the Hong Kong financial sector.
Support applicable internal reviews for local regulatory updates, circulars, and notifications, identifying potential compliance gaps.
Monitor and track the remediation of identified gaps, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
Support the implementation of required regulatory changes within the TDI environment.

Local Governance Support:
Assist the local risk & governance lead in preparing technology governance updates and reports for local management forums.
Collaborate with technology application and service owners to ensure full compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Support the development and maintenance of local technology governance frameworks and procedures
Assist in the documentation of local control processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and DB control functions.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams.
Act as a liaison between TDI and other control functions.
Role is required to be performed on-site at Hong Kong, Kowloon.
Your skills and experience:
Proven 5 years+ experience in technology risk and control, preferably within the financial services industry.
Experience in audit remediation.
Experience with risk management tools and methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Hong Kong regulatory requirements (HKMA, SFC) related to technology in banking.
Knowledge of IT audit and compliance frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Understanding of ITIL, COBIT or similar frameworks
