The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a bank wide strong risk culture. You will work within the Operational Risk Management (ORM) department within the Risk Division. As a second line of defence function, ORM is responsible for oversight across all aspects of non-financial risk (OR), including risk identification and assessment, control framework, risk appetite and scenario analysis.

Your key responsibilities
Producing and coordinating key materials on behalf of and in conjunction with the Global Head of ORM for both senior internal and external stakeholders
Working across 1LoD and 2LoD stakeholders to produce regulatory, Management Board and Supervisory Board appropriate updates on behalf of the Global Head of ORM
Ensuring consistent messaging for all key initiatives across multiple senior internal and external senior stakeholders
Supporting the Global Head of ORM in prioritising functional deliverables and tracking open actions and priorities
Work effectively as required with the department’s leadership team, including management of their regular meeting (agenda, actions etc.)
Contribution to various ad-hoc initiatives and projects including cross-ORM or cross-Risk, as applicable. In addition, support the COO teams for both ORM and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) on ad hoc projects as required
Your skills and experience
Educated to Degree-level or equivalent work experience
Previous experience in risk management, ideally within investment banking
Ability to work autonomously and deliver high quality senior management content and materials
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong influencing, relationship management and negotiation skills
Highly organised, ability to multi-task and prioritise as required
