Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation Testing Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure product quality and seamless performance.

Your key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
- Execute automated tests and report results with defects and logs.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI).
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify system requirements and resolve issues.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and utilities for reusability and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test automation.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements.
- Document test results, test coverage, and automation metrics.
Your skills and experience
- 8+ years of Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium/WebDriver, TestNG, Junit, or Cucumber.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks (POM, BDD, Hybrid).
- Hands-on experience with API testing and automation.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred skills
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Exposure to cloud platforms and testing on AWS, Azure, or Docker containers.
- Security testing awareness.
- ISTQB Certification or similar.
