DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

As part of Deutsche Bank Corporate Functions (Risk, Treasury, Finance and Data), the Accounting Tribe Domain is an international team of Finance and Technology, Data & Innovation employees in Frankfurt, London, Manila, Pune and Singapore. In addition to the classic changes and change-the-bank tasks and the continuous improvement of the platforms, we keep the specialist knowledge of the processes and systems, as well as the expertise to successfully manage large and international programs in the accounting space. Our international organization and change initiatives are following a scaled agile model and methodology.
To strengthen our footprint in Romania, we are extending our Team with SAP Engineers and SAP Consultants in Bucharest to support the global implementation of SAP S4HANA for all Finance processes at Deutsche Bank.
Responsibilities
- In your role, you will be integrated in one of our project squads and work closely together with the product owner, the scrum master and other engineers to achieve the expected outcome delivery.
- As a technical SAP expert, you work together with other internal and external developers and testers, to ensure the implementation of best-fit solutions within the SAP standard capabilities.
- You will analysis business process and take responsibility for the design, implementation, tests and documentation of Deutsche Bank specific extensions in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
- You provide support in analyzing and solving production problems.
- Together with the testing team, you define functional test cases for the changes and support the test automation.
- You are open for change and always looking for improvements along our software development chain, e.g. how we can improve collaboration, our processes and our software
- Sharing knowledge, support the team building and the training of junior talents is close to your heart.
Skills
- You have completed a university degree in business administration, computer science or business informatics with relevant knowledge in the IT sector.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the SAP ERP/ECC/S4 environment
- Deep functional knowledge of the SAP standard modules in S4 Hana, e.g. FI-AA,FI-AR, FI-AP, CO, MM
- Additional knowledge in other SAP areas like MDG, BW, CIG, Ariba are an advantage.
- Knowledge about SAP interfaces technologies, e.g. ALE, IDOC
- You have good knowledge about SAP customizing and programming skills in ABAP.
- Knowledge of Financial Accounting, Controlling and Finance process are an advantage.
- You have a positive attitude towards agile working methods with daily deadlines and short development cycles and ideally have initial experience.
- Analytical thinking capabilities and technical competence is required.
- Fluent English language skills are mandatory.
- You are communicative, enjoy sharing your experiences and enjoy working in an international, English-speaking environment.
