The DevOps Engineer (f/m/x) provides high quality, meaningful analysis to internal stakeholders, in a timely manner, to address current and future business needs. They leverage the analytical/AI toolkit and research techniques to create value added insights for stakeholders. Reporting to the Team Lead of the Data Analytics team in Berlin, the Data Analytics and AI will be member of Audit Technology Team for Data Analytics and AI.
This Center of Excellence is responsible to enable all functions of Group Audit with data analytics and AI services as well as audit automation solutions. As a newly founded team, the Data Analytics Solution Engineer will do pioneer work in projects and help Group Audit to establish innovative and effective processes which will become instrumental for the success of the function.
Your key responsibilities
Design and Development of AI models in particular within area of Natural Language Processing and GenerativeAI
Broad knowledge to explore, implement, train and evaluate identified AI models and their respective MLOps activities with Python and Project Jupyter toolset.
Deep experience in developing self-service analytics solutions using Python and SQL.
Adopt to hybrid and native cloud technologies with OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform.
Driving software engineering principles within the team adopting market’s best practices alongside with DB’s principles and procedures to deliver high-quality solutions through coding, system testing and documentation.
Enhance existing data-driven solutions regarding data ingest, transformation, reporting and machine learning capabilities. Identify automation opportunities and develop solutions that simplify data delivery processes and make them more efficient with AI workflows.
Your skills and experiences
Master’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science etc.) or equivalent work experience ideally in the banking industry.
Multiple years’ experience as data scientist or AI engineer ideally using Python, SQL and Docker Micro Services
Experience on development frameworks for both frontend and backend (e.g. Python Pandas, NumPy, Flask)
Deep knowledge of big data analytics/AI architectures (i.e. Data Warehousing, ETL) on hybrid cloud environments in particular OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Multiple years of experience in finance industry, internal audit functions or high regulated environments is considered a plus
