We are looking for a Business Analyst (Functional Role Title: Technology Specialist) (Channels) (m/f/d)
Your key responsibilities
Own and evolve the functional architecture of the calculation engine used across Asset Management as a Service and Individualized Asset Management
Define, formalize and validate financial calculations including asset allocations, rebalancing logic, tax-aware optimization, risk-return modeling, glide paths, and performance projections
Translate investment strategies and academic models into implementable technology logic for development teams
Collaborate with Product Managers, quant teams, engineers, and compliance to ensure regulatory alignment and financial accuracy
Drive documentation of methodologies, including white papers, test plans, and traceable audit logs for all quantitive outputs
Analyze and benchmark output consistency across various portfolio strategies and client objectives (retirement, capital preservation, income generation etc.)
Contribute to internal knowledge base and mentor analysts and product teams on financial modeling and calculation concepts
Your skills and experiences
Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a relevant field
Proven academical knowledge and experience on Asset Management and different asset classes
Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is critical – Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred
Proven experience in coordinating with internal stakeholders (Business / COO / Product teams)
Demonstrated capability of problem-solving, decision-making, sound judgment, assertiveness
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently showing drive and initiative with minimal supervision
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Flexible problem-solver, open minded to receiving input from colleagues
Ability to share and receive information, knowledge and expertise within the team environment
Ability to work within virtual global teams in a matrix organization and across all levels of management and staff
Fluent in English (written and spoken), German would be a plus
