Details of the Division and Team:
Clearing and Settlement is responsible for managing the end-to-end clearing and settlement process. This is to ensure smooth and timely market settlement of securities and cash transfers between the bank and its counterparty. Operations drives the planning and execution of day-to-day business management, aligning with the bank's mission and strategic goals. It sets the direction, monitors performance against bank targets, and emphasizes continual improvement to achieve sustainable operational excellence.
Work includes:
Identifying and prioritizing product and service improvement opportunities and creating plans for implementation
Utilizing comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
Supporting bank strategy, proactively identifying and managing areas of risk
Maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including regulators, market vendors and internal divisions
Communicating changes to operational requirements and their impact on relevant processes and controls

Your key responsibilities:
Support early-shift for FX instruction management.
Monitor and process daily FX transactions.
Contact tax agent for repatriation handling.
Support cash availablity checking across different functions' activities.
Perform regulatory reporting and reconciliation.
Participant in system enhancement for clients’ requests or market changes.
Support client daily reporting and inquiries for FX transactions.
Support internal reporting and activities for audit and risk control purpose.
Take on ad-hoc tasks, job rotations and additional responsibilities over time.
Your skills and experience:
2 years experiences in the operation areas of financial industry or custodian function
Basic product and process knowledge relating to FINI system in Taiwan market
Understanding of custody settlement process and applicable regulations
Ability to work independently under pressure
Detailed oriented and risk awareness
Good team work player and good communication skill
Willing to take new challenges and assignments
Qualifications
Trust License is a must
Bachelor degree in Finance, Business management, or relevant function
Proficiency in Microsoft software
Fluent in both written and spoken English
