Job Description:
Join KYC Ops Spain in Barcelona as a KYC Analyst at Deutsche Bank, in the Corporate Banking division. Be part of an international team of analysts whose main goal is regulatory compliance and the protection of the bank against any operational and reputational risk, both local and global.
Responsibilities
- Recognize the risks related to client adoption and review, carrying out the corresponding analyses for their correct identification, verification, classification, escalation, and approval.
- Maintain effective collaboration with the Relationship Managers of Business and the AFC, I&S units.
- Ensure the achievement of the review and control objectives established for the group. Interaction with local and global systems for the registration and update of information.
- Work in a team with analysts and managers, contributing to an adequate detection of risks and providing efficiency in the analysis of assigned cases.
- Keep constant updates on the applicable rules and regulations related to your role. Update of the applicable policies and procedures.
Skills
- It is essential to have at least 1 year of prior experience in Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) within the last 3 years of work experience. With experience in Client Contact (C-level executives, financial directors, legal departments of large corporations) and knowledge of Corporate Banking products.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- Training in Law, Legal Advisory, Compliance, KYC, Auditing, and Quality Control will be valued. Desirable: Banking experience, experience abroad, and knowledge of languages other than English. Experience and ease of use of Office tools (Excel, Word, Access).
- Initiative and flexibility to manage pressure situations. Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other units. Attention to detail.
- Adaptability, proactivity, and the ability to manage different tasks in a coordinated manner. Achievement of set goals. Ability to perform functions autonomously, in an organized manner, and in accordance with guidelines.
