DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

OMS is the strategic DB output management platform that generates over 50 million documents per month. We transform the raw data coming from various areas of our Bank’s business and transform it into human readable formats, such as PDF or AFP.

The ITAO is responsible for ensuring applications are enhanced and maintained in compliance with the Bank’s IT Policy, and that adequate infrastructure support is provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise IT governance, ensuring business applications comply with organizational obligations and Deutsche Bank standards.
• Manage information security by advising on controls, performing risk and vulnerability assessments, creating and running disaster recovery tests and conducting business impact analysis.
• Review and authorize change management activities, ensuring effective implementation and system stability during transitions to production.
• Administer software licenses, security certificates, contracts, and coordinate support activities with vendors.
• Ensure documentation availability and communicate risks and issues identified during the delivery cycle.

Skills

• Solid technical background in enterprise business application SDLC, with 2+ years in roles such as information security, support, SRE, devops, or development.
• Strong multitasking, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, including narrowing enterprise expectations, engaging stakeholders, and escalating issues effectively; fluent in English.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and analytical.
• Experience with ITIL processes, information security, identity and access management, vendor management, networking, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud hosting, Java frameworks, and automation tools.
