Team / division overview
The potential candidate will join the Taiwan Client Coverage Division (CCD) within DWS, a highly collaborative and client-centric team responsible for managing and expanding relationships across a diverse range of client segments—including institutional investors, retail clients, and strategic partners.
As the primary interface between the firm and its clients in Taiwan, the CCD team plays a pivotal role in delivering tailored financial solutions, strategic insights, and comprehensive relationship management. The team is known for its professionalism, agility, and commitment to excellence in client service, consistently striving to exceed expectations and build long-term partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining client relationships through proactive engagement and deep understanding of client needs.
- Identifying and maximizing business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence and internal capabilities.
- Driving strategic initiatives to further penetrate target markets and achieve commercial objectives.
To ensure seamless execution and optimal client outcomes, the CCD team works closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Product Specialists, Investments, Legal, Compliance, and Operations. This cross-functional collaboration enables the team to deliver holistic solutions, respond swiftly to client requirements, and continuously enhance operational efficiency.
Role Details
As a Client Servicing you will be responsible for:
you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional client service delivery while driving business growth opportunities.
We are looking for candidates that share our professionalism and enthusiasm to deliver exceptional client service for broad base of Institutional clients in Taiwan. You will partner with Senior Sales Coverage for developing, maintaining, and managing client relationships while maximizing opportunities and further penetrating target markets to achieve business goals. In addition, you will work heavily on fulfilling client requirements and optimizing overall process through collaboration across all internal stakeholders from Sales, Product Specialist, Investments, Legal, Compliance and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Mandate Servicing & Client Relationship Management
- Act as a trusted partner to clients, ensuring their investment mandates and contracted needs are serviced with accuracy, timeliness, transparency and efficiency.
- Coordinate with portfolio management, operations and compliance teams to address client requirements across investment strategies and manage day-to-day client account and mandates-related activities (e.g., account maintenance, reporting, inquiries).
- Provide clear guidance and solutions to client requests and issues through effective cross-functional collaboration and actionable communication.
Cross-Selling & Business Development
- Proactively identify and explore cross-selling opportunities by understanding client needs and aligning them with product and service offerings.
- Support senior sales coverage in client acquisition, RFP preparation, and onboarding in collaboration with the Client Implementation Team.
- Strengthen client engagement to enhance satisfaction and drive long-term partnerships with potential revenue growth.
Project & Crisis Management
- Lead or support strategic initiatives and projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and client communication standards across the institutional platform in the whole value chain.
- Coordinate swift resolution of mandate-related issues or market-driven challenges, ensuring proactive escalation and stakeholders alignment.
- Develop contingency processes to safeguard client trust during period of market stress or operational disruption.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Oversee and review client reporting to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and alignment with client expectations.
- Analyze market and industry developments to identify emerging risks and opportunities, translating insights into actionable business strategies.
- Provide input to coverage and investment teams on client feedback to shape strategy and solutions.
We are looking for:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to balance client servicing excellence with business development.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize under pressure, and handle crisis situations effectively.
- Self-starter who is adaptive, fast-learning, responsive, reliable, extremely well-organized, detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
- Analytical and strategic mindset to bridge client requirements with investment capabilities.
- Excellent Mandarin speaker with fluent English in both spoken and written.
- 5+ years of work experience in financial industry and demonstrate a good team player spirit included TW CSR organizer.
- Prior experience covering Taiwan institutional clients is preferable.
- University degree is essential; CFA, CAIA, CESGA charter is plus.
- Professional License: Securities Investment Trust & Consulting Professional License (投信投顧業務人員) or Senior Securities Specialist License (證券商高級業務人員) is Mandatory
