Details of the Division and Team:
DB Corporate Bank occupies a global leading position in the areas of Corporate Cash Management, TFL and Institutional Cash & Investor Services for corporate customers such as financial institutions. DB Corporate Bank's wide range of innovative and market-leading products for its customers is guaranteed by a highly qualified and experienced team of specialists in product development, structuring and product sales. The TFL area is particularly important in the development and global provision of tailor-made financing solutions.
Structured Products Korea is a new, dedicated unit within TFL that is holistically responsible for identifying, developing, structuring and successfully implementing complex customer situations and customized products across all TFL product areas and asset classes, including Project Finance, Structured Trade & Export Finance (STEF), Acquisition Finance. In addition, Structured Products Korea is responsible for the further development and operationalization of future TFL product ideas as well as support in optimizing the TFL infrastructure. Structured Products Korea has a mandate to develop new products and client solutions to drive revenue. In addition, works closely with the existing structuring teams and risk functions in the respective TFL product areas, corporate coverage, all 2nd-line functions and product management
Junior Structurer is responsible for all activities required to support the Lead Structurer’s origination of the deals mainly under Structured Products in Trade Finance, Lending and Structured Products (TFL). Works includes:
Providing advice and guidance to teams on the development of appropriate products/solution/platforms
Partnering with functional and cross-functional colleagues to ensure that products/solutions/platforms meet the needs of the bank/clients and may also participate in the negotiation and execution of the mandated transactions with clients
Preparing required NPA/NTA process to Ensuring adherence to those and participating in discussions with internal partners (e.g. Risk; Legal) as appropriate, for the smooth execution of transactions
Preparing internal papers to monitor and assess the performance targets, and adherence to relevant internal policies/controls and regulatory requirements
Monitoring progress and implementing strategies to ensure successful delivery of new products

Your key responsibilities:
As a Structurer in the Trade Finance & Lending Structured Products Team, you will be responsible for supporting Head of Structured Product Korea around the origination and independent development of solutions or products to serve complex customer requirements or situations.
Support and prepare the internal memos as well as the external pitch materials, term sheet for the clients
Review financing documentations in line with the approved credit and legal
Responsible to support developing customer solutions based on existing trade finance, credit and capital market instruments (including derivatives in various asset classes such as credit, rates, Commodities, etc.), in accordance with the risk profile of DB Corporate Bank and all external and internal (legal and regulatory) requirements.
Developing the ownership for individual transactions, especially with regard to pricing, economic risk analysis, regulatory and accounting evaluation, documentation negotiation, DB-internal coordination (including NTA and NPA) and their implementation.
Collaborate with internal teams, including risk management, legal and compliance to ensure that transactions comply with internal and regulatory requirements and policies, Treasury and Finance.
Your skills and experience:
Bachelor or Masters university degree in Finance or related field from reputed university.
At least 5 years of practical experience as a structurer in one of the asset classes (Structured Credit/Finance, Interest Rates, FX, Commodities) in the capital market business or as a relationship manager of a global bank/financial service provider:
Strong understanding of financial markets, products and instruments with a focus on structured finance
Capacity to build pitch and memos that are clear, structured, compelling and comprehensive in addressing both clients’ and internal stakeholders’ needs
Understanding of a bank balance sheet, a bank's risk and product approval procedures,
Knowledge of common booking, pricing and risk analysis systems of a bank
High level of motivation, entrepreneurial skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders/customers and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills preferably in a global organization.
