Merchant Solutions is a new division within the Corporate Bank. We combine the best of traditional bank treasury solutions with global payment service provider capabilities. Deutsche Bank offers a full spectrum of integrated payment solutions around payment acceptance and payment issuing, marketplace, FX and financing. Our products range from card acceptance and alternative payment methods to the card issuance and wallets, as well as integrated FX and lending workflow solutions for eCommerce and ePOS.
The Product Management team within Merchant Solutions is responsible for driving & leading Product Management, develop a world-class product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Manage end-to- end product development. Lead and inspire a customer-centric and data-driven product culture.

Your key responsibilities:
Define world-class Product Solution in close partnership with industry leaders and other teams to assess opportunities, evaluate growth options, identify bottlenecks, and to create cross-functional aligned Product Strategy.
Market Knowledge around Product and Processes.
Manage end-to-end product strategy, management and governance.
Anticipate and identify emerging market needs in the space of payment and acceptance,
Work with group and country teams to identify governance requirements and regulatory challenges.
Own and execute the product portfolio and deployment-to-market by working collaboratively with cross-functional team members.
Ensure Overall product portfolio risks, dependencies are clearly managed and communicated.
Identify, Validate, and manage collaboration with 3rd party services and resources where required.
Be the face of Merchant Solutions to the market and client by continuously engaging with our sales teams, thus fostering relevant client dialogue.
Advise internal and external teams as a product expert for merchant solutions.
Work on cross-product solutioning with other teams to meet client needs.
Partnership Management for all strategic partners of the bank for the Merchant Solution portfolio
Work with second line of defence across Risk. Compliance, AFC, Legal and other functions to ensure all risks are adequately covered by the bank with its clients and partners.
Governance
Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight, and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee the changes in the respective business areas
Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
Responsible for delivering ‘effective governance’; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.
Regulatory & Business Conduct:

Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across the Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Your skills and experience:
Experienced in diverse APAC payment methods, including scheme-based cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Diners, local schemes), alternative payment methods (wallets, Google Pay, Apple Pay), and local payment mechanisms (instant payments such as UPI, DuitNow, Bi-Fast, PayNow).
Over 8 years' experience in Risk, Compliance, AFC, Legal, Tax, and other control functions to ensure comprehensive risk coverage within product governance.
12+ years of experience in the Banking Industry
Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework across APAC, in which the group and country operates, its relevance to the role is a must.
Strong Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, word, excel) with ability to prepare impactful presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Understanding of implementing operational processes or projects to ensure that they meet customer needs, legal & regulatory requirements, and Organization goals.
Ability to handle the day to day ‘hands-on’ management of tasks, resolve problems and issues, and implement action plans to meet objectives.
Experience in working in a hyper-growth, scale-up environment.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to communicate well with various stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work optimally in a team environment.
Excellent presentation skills couples with a strong leadership presence.
Initiative and desire to learn new skills/technologies and remain up to date with the latest trend; a real passion of solving the technical problems.
Strong business acumen paired with analytical skill, identifying new business opportunities and “injecting” entrepreneurial ideas.
Excellent analytical skills, with high attention to detail
Commitment to strong teamwork and a collaborative environment
Motivated self-starter and a quick learner, ready to take on responsibilities and confident to manage projects; able to manage tasks independently, expand knowledge into different areas and combine analytical work with the ability to drive projects on your own.
