TSCO/Investment Banking Operations is dedicated to support our business in their goal to build long-term, sustainable relationships with the Bank’s key institutional clients, while delivering strong returns to stakeholders.
TSCO/IB Operations in Deutsche Bank Manila covers a wide range of activities. Following the buying and selling of financial products and services by the bank, we ensure that each transaction is captured accurately and in a timely manner to ensure effective risk management, cleared, documented, and confirmed, settled, and reconciled, all within a tightly controlled environment in adherence with global regulatory requirements. We support the following products:
Foreign Exchange
OTC Derivatives - Rates and Credit
Fixed Income
Money Markets
Loans

Your key responsibilities
Perform the processing of payments (remittances, customs duties, payroll, tax payments, etc) and other related activities thru various payment channels (SWIFT, PDDTS, RTGS)
Perform reconciliations related to the assigned product operations (Nostros, W/A, sundries and all related accounts)
Investigate account breaks and provides supporting documents for account substantiation and break resolution
Generate and retrieve data from different systems required for reporting – MIS and Regulatory Reporting
Escalate issues /concerns encountered with the service provider or any settlement or control issues noted
Prepares day-in-a-day reporting on a daily basis for escalation and control monitoring
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's Degree in either Math, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business Administration or its equivalent, while further professional qualification or study e.g. Master’s Degree will be an advantage.
Prior experience in banking and a background in payment clearing and settlements is beneficial, as well as handling local remittances
Additionally, you will need to have strong knowledge in local payment systems such as SWIFT, RTGS, PDDTS
You will also need to possess excellent communication skills and ability to confidently interact with a diverse set of stakeholders
Experience in local taxations (DST/WHT), Regulatory reporting, and knowledge on investment banking products (FX, OTC, FI, MM, Loans)
