Job Title: Senior Business Manager, VP

Location: Mumbai/ Pune, India

Role Description

• As part of Operations Risk and Controls Governance, you will be responsible for supporting, assisting in mitigating roadblocks to achieving compliance for Risks and Issues identified by Operations.
• Together with a small team that you will lead and in close collaboration with various Operations business and other key stakeholders (such as Audit, COO leadership Team), you will ensure identified risks are accurately documented and tracked to resolution. Furthermore, you will support/ lead any key Ops projects that help DWS achieve its strategic goals.

Your key responsibilities

• Agreeing Risk documentation and classification as per DWS guidelines with respective Operations responsible owners.
• Aligning with Divisional Control Office to ensure accurate disclosure/ documentation of risk.
• Collaborating with Operations responsible owners in identifying dependency to remediate risks and supporting in developing an action plan.
• Monitoring progress of risk remediation action plans and flagging potential delays.
• Identify potential process enhancement + efficiency creation possibilities in close collaboration with Operations stakeholders.
• Lead/ Support key Operations initiatives that focused on achieving DWS goals.
• Assist/ guide Intra Group documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regional/ local regulatory requirements.
• Work with Operations Management to set up new teams and processes in DWS India.
• Coordinate the development of tech-based solutions by bridging the gap between Business, Operations and Technology teams

Your skills and experience

• Strong ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries
• Very proficient at running complex projects
• Good understanding of asset management business
• Proven expertise in aligning business objectives with practical solutions
• Very proficient in articulating identified Risks
• Proven ability to act at Enterprise level and take a strategic view
• Good understanding and experience in governance & compliance
