DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

You will be part of the Tribe Workflow in Shared Application & Services (SAS) which develops and operates the central workflow platform of Deutsche Bank. Our holistic Business Process Management solutions support multiple thousands of business processes and process multiple hundred thousand cases daily.
As a Senior Business Functional Analyst (m/f/d) your will further develop our solution as part of an agile organization: You will create user-friendly and efficient processes and features and further drive digitalization and automation in a large bank.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Identifying the full spectrum of business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for the development and implementation of solutions. Create (BPMN) models, diagrams, presentations, and other documentation that support the target audience in understanding the business requirements.
- Impact Analysis: Analyzing and evaluating the effects of planned changes on existing processes, systems, and structures.
- Process Design: Designing target processes and supporting business units in shaping optimal business workflows.
- Roadmap Development: Creating and implementing roadmaps focused on the development and deployment of solutions. Organize working groups and provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery status and risks.
- Methodological Consulting: Providing guidance on methodological approaches of varying complexity and assisting in selecting appropriate methods.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborating closely and continuously with key stakeholders such as Product Owners, Developers, and other involved parties to ensure seamless alignment between business requirements and technical solution providers—across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Skills
- Open, empathic personality with strong communication skills that knows how to convince others, set priorities and can implement tasks self-dependently and in high quality
- Multiple years of relevant job experience as Business Analyst, ideally in the context of projects within a bank, a consulting company or an enterprise
- Academic background in science, business or technical discipline with focus on IT or similar qualifications
- Good to have: Experience and/or skills with workflow systems on a business- or technical level as well as knowledge of Agile principles and banking domain know-how
- Familiar with Business Analyst tools and methodologies such as creating diagrams (e.g., Data Flow, Use Case modelling) and Mock-ups, writing User Stories in Jira, and documenting in Confluence.
- Experience in virtual collaboration with international teams at multiple locations.
- Knowing German would be a plus.
