Compensation Control is responsible for Group-wide compensation planning, forecasting and analysis as well as the month end closure and the accurate financial reporting of compensation and benefits. It is an integrated compensation controlling function.
This role is Salaries, Benefits & Pension (SBP) Subject Matter Expert for Global Compensation which is critical for the governance and reporting of salaries, benefits and pension costs of the bank. This role has a global scope, covering all regions/entities, and from a divisional standpoint covers the front offices as well as all the different infrastructure areas. This role is also responsible for the overall validation and control of SBP costs of the bank, ensuring periodic review is done to detect irregularities or errors, and that balances are fully substantiated. As SBP SME, he/she partners with Business FDs and HR Business Partners globally for any insights or clarifications on employee costs. This is a critical role that deals with highly sensitive information on SBP costs.

Your key responsibilities

Provides technical insights and expertise that supports the daily operations of the team
Provides proper root-cause analysis of issues, performs validation and control of the salaries, benefits and pension costs of the bank, ensuring periodic review is done to detect irregularities or errors, and that reported balances are fully substantiated.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
Knowledge and understanding of salaries, benefits and pension including policies governing the proper accounting of cases gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry
Stakeholder management skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills
A great team-player and is able to effectively influence
