With offices in New York, California, London, Frankfurt, Milan, Lisbon, Dublin, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, the Corporate Trust (CT) team at Deutsche Bank has long been recognised as a leader in the provision of administrative and fiduciary services to the global debt and equities markets.

You will help support new business growth across structures from the simplest to the most complex, covering Asset Backed Securities, Collateralized loan obligation (CLOs) and Managed accounts, Corporate Debt, Escrows, Project Finance and Loan Agency. You will be responsible for driving and expanding CT Sales efforts in the region, with a specific focus on driving growth initiatives

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive new business across an existing client, prospect and intermediary portfolio, originating new business mandates across Trust products and client segments to grow revenues
  • Develop and execute strategic short and long-term sales execution plans (e.g. market sizing, identification, priority targets) and sales campaigns for growth products
  • Collaborate across the bank’s core pillars (e.g., Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, Private Bank) to maximise referral opportunities to grow CT revenues and coordinate on key bank relationships. Ownership of revenue and calling targets aligned to wider growth strategy of the CT business
  • Preparation and delivery of Request for Proposal responses and tailored sales pitches
  • Drive the sales execution process across live pipeline and organise and execute calling plans and strategic sales initiatives
  • Direct client/prospect engagement in person, representing the bank at industry conferences, seminars and/or awards

Your skills and experience

  • A track record in product sales and client engagement
  • Relevant product, market development and corporate strategy experience, preferably gained in a leading financial institution; Securitisation / Capital Markets / Corporate Trust experience
  • Good knowledge of corporate trust product and/or core client segments alongside a track record of positive client engagement
  • Experience in being responsible for revenue targets and building new and successful relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to articulate clearly to an executive audience and present on a variety of topics to senior stakeholders
  • Language skills including German, Spanish and French would be beneficial, but not essential
