As part of Corporate Bank division of Deutsche Bank the Global Corporate Coverage (GCC) team is a treasury focused coverage function for multinational corporates headquartered in the DACH region. As global relationship managers, we lead the global relationship with these clients, hand in hand with the client service team (CST) and are responsible for deal origination across Corporate Banking products (including complex payment solutions, trade finance & working capital solutions, lending as well as foreign exchange and interest rate solutions) and beyond. Key client contacts are group/ divisional /regional treasurers and their teams, CFOs, procurement, and sales units, as well as further buying centers.

In your role as Analyst you will support senior corporate bankers in covering Multinational clients with growth-potential through originating tailor-made solutions according to the client’s needs. You will be exposed to a diverse range of products, divisions, and clients from different industries, whilst building a broad network with colleagues across the bank.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility while supporting senior bankers in all aspects of the client relationship, including preparation of client presentations, managing credit processes, analyzing financial accounts, accompanying senior bankers to client visits and providing follow-ups

  • Identify growth potential and support origination in the area of core treasury products, including Cash Management, Liquidity Management Solutions, Trade Finance & Lending, Risk Management Solutions, Trust & Securities Services and Debt Capital Markets.

  • Support senior Relationship Managers on complex and current client interactions, including solutions addressing geopolitical risks, liquidity optimization and the changing interest rate environment

  • Accompany mandates in the area of complex Working Capital Solutions, Cash Management RfPs and other strategic sales initiatives. Drive monetization of won deals and ensure transaction execution, including documentation and onboarding processes as well as coordination of the CST

  • Ensure an effective control environment and coordinate regulatory processes for your clients with internal stakeholders, including Know-Your-Client and Anti-Financial-Crime departments

  • Build an understanding of different business models and grow your network within GCC D/A/CH as well as with relevant DB internal stakeholders

  • Become the go-to contact for the client’s Treasury department, both at Headoffice and subsidiary level by growing into the role of a global Coverage Banker

Skills:

  • University degree (Bachelor and/or Master), preferably in business administration, finance, economics or with proficiency in respective areas

  • Relevant internships in Corporate Banking or comparable experiences in related fields

  • First client facing front office experience, as well as a good understanding of client needs across corporate banking products and the regulatory environment that we are operating in

  • Excellent MS Office Skills, especially in Excel and Power Point

  • Strongly self-motivated, structured approach and a strong analytical skill set

  • Proven ability to multitask different projects and prioritize against tight deadlines

  • Motivation to work in a dynamic, international and diverse environment

  • Excellent partnering skills and stakeholder management. The ability to successfully navigate a complex organization, build strong relationships and work collaboratively with different teams

  • Fluent in English, German and/or French a strong plus

  • First experiences abroad and international mobility for further career development are a plus
