About the Graduate Programme:
The Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme is a comprehensive programme designed to provide you with exposure to a range of fascinating projects and ongoing professional and technical training to develop the skills you need to grow your career. About the division:
The Private Bank combines Deutsche Bank’s private client’s business and its international business with private and commercial clients together with Wealth Management in a single division.
In both the domestic German market and worldwide the Private Bank provides high-quality advice to over 20 million clients and a broad range of financial services in 19 countries – ranging from day-to-day banking services right through to advisory services for sophisticated Private Banking and Wealth Management clients.
About the role:
Our 13-months Graduate Programme is characterized by a focus on our product areas for private and wealth customers. Including Banking, Lending and Investment Solution products you will benefit from structured learning opportunities and clear career planning whist rotating through different areas in Private Bank.
You will get to know our bank's products and support us in further developing our offerings. Immerse yourself in different product teams that are key for helping our customers achieve their financial goals and optimize their opportunities. This gives you a broad overview of all facets of private bank, including wealth management.
By developing individual solutions, you will expand your analytical and advisory skills and gain extensive experience in dealing with internal and external customer requests. You will learn from the best, develop professionally and personally, and create a solid foundation for your professional career.
Although focused on the product organization you will also learn about the Wealth Management operating model and value chain covering topics such as client coverage, risk management and operations. There is the possibility of rotations in other parts of the Private Bank.
What we look for:
We are looking for motivated university graduates who like to work in a team and are enthusiastic team players with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
You should not only be passionate about financial topics but bring your awareness of tactical developments in markets and the importance of longer-term strategic asset allocation to provide analysis and commentary to both clients and colleagues. Excellent English, written and spoken, is key and at least one additional fluent language is required e.g. French or German.
Being proficiency in Microsoft Office software (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) whilst familiarity with Bloomberg would be advantageous. You can build on your outstanding academical achievements and benefit from working in a professional and diverse environment with some of the best minds in banking.
To be eligible for the 2026 Graduate Programme, you must:
- Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2025 and 31st July 2026.
- Be able to start full time work in July 2026, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
- Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience (excluding internships).
