As a Clearing and Settlement Operator, you will be accountable for managing the end-to-end settlement process and ensure smooth and timely market settlement of securities and cash transfers between Deutsche Bank and its counterparty.
In this capacity you will manage settlement through primary and secondary markets, or direct payment to clients and banks. You will support interfaces with different internal and external stakeholders (front office, clients, brokers, Nostro agents, exchanges and clearing houses) involved in the settlement process chain, according to the market standards. You will be responsible for trade date to settlement date processes (pre-matching and confirmation, trade processing, cash transfer, instruction routing, depot and inventory management, funding and settlement monitoring) and post-settlement date processes (fails management and reconciliations)

Your key responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end settlement process and ensure smooth and timely market settlement of securities and cash transfers between Deutsche Bank and its counterparties/clients.
Support interfaces with different internal and external stakeholders (front office, clients, brokers, Nostro agents, exchanges and clearing houses) involved in the settlement process chain, according to the market standards
Be responsible for trade date to settlement date processes (pre-matching and confirmation, trade processing, cash transfer, instruction routing, depot and inventory management, funding and settlement monitoring) and post-settlement date processes (fails management and reconciliations).
Assist to identify opportunities for process improvements and engage with SMEs/transformation team to discuss feasibility and completion
Your skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in a Business Course in Finance or its equivalent
Analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to cater to demanding stakeholders
A highly organized team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently; can multi-task and has flexibility to work during challenging situations
